Terms of Service

The rules for using Brieflee. Plain English, no tricks.

By using Brieflee, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable. If anything is unclear, email support@brieflee.io for clarification.

The service

Brieflee is operated by Shayla Lunai. The platform delivers curated daily briefs and learning roadmaps across various topic packs. The service is provided through the website at brieflee.io and via email delivery.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your password. Use a unique password. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and email support@brieflee.io.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Brieflee. If you're under 18, please have a parent or guardian review these terms with you.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

Content ownership

The curated briefs we deliver consist of headlines, summaries, and links to third-party sources. Each linked article remains the property of its original publisher. Our curation and presentation of that content is our own work.

Anything you submit through our feedback system or contact channels (bug reports, feature ideas, topic suggestions) may be incorporated into Brieflee without compensation. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it.

Subscriptions and payment

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and what's included will be displayed clearly at the time of signup or upgrade.

Cancellation and refund details are covered in our Refund Policy.

Service availability

We aim to keep Brieflee running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Briefs may occasionally be delayed due to source feed issues, infrastructure problems, or maintenance. We'll communicate any planned downtime in advance when possible.

Limitation of liability

Brieflee is provided "as is." We do our best to ensure accuracy of curated content, but we can't guarantee it. Decisions you make based on information delivered through Brieflee are your responsibility. We're not liable for decisions, financial or otherwise, made based on our briefs.

Our maximum liability to you in any matter related to Brieflee is limited to the amount you've paid us in the most recent 12 months (which may be zero for free-tier users).

Termination

You may cancel your account anytime through the account settings page. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation. In cases of clear abuse (spam, harassment, illegal activity), termination may be immediate.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Substantive changes will be communicated via email to active users. Your continued use of Brieflee after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Virginia.
